Starting Early

Generally, about the time the holidays come, my life becomes a series of crises. (Could this be because we are a family of four earning around $25,000 a year?) This year, all hell is breaking loose a coupla months early.

Heather's Family vs. Chaos*

Promotion: 15-Love.

Better, more flexible hours and a pay increase are pretty much always a good thing.

GF getting her drink spiked Thursday night: Love-15.

Thankfully, her friend noticed something wrong and brought her home to me. But, I was up all night taking care of her and still went to work the next day. The doctor said it was either GHB or Special K.

School starting: Love-Love.

Some time alone with each other always makes us girls happy. No, I will not comment on the great sex. LOL.

Gas increase, inflation, birthdays only months before Christmas, Christmas, etc: Game Point goes to chaos.

I don't think my fifty cent raise will combat even inflation.

Having a family, job, friends, and yarn to knit: Game. Set. Match.

*Scoring in tennis is tricky. When tied, the score goes back to zero aka love.
