Notable Quotes

You must keep sending work out; you must never let a manuscript do nothing but eat its head off in a drawer. You send that work out again and again, while you're working on another one. If you have talent, you will receive some measure of success - but only if you persist.
--Isaac Asimov

Angst and Randon Thoughts

Pronunciation: 'รค[ng](k)st, 'a[ng](k)st
Function: noun
Etymology: Danish & German; Danish, from German
: a feeling of anxiety, apprehension, or insecurity

The holiday season is bad, bad, bad and evil, evil, evil. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy being able to see the nieces, nephews, and other assorted relatives. But, without my girlfriend, I wouldn't be seeing any relatives.

After five years of being welcomed and loved by her family, I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop. I know that I am being unreasonable. Her family really tries to make me feel like one of their own.

How long does it take to get over almost 21 years if rejection?

When do the nightmares stop?

I feel most alone in a room full of family and friends.

Congrats on the NaNo win.

And on that note here's a random thought.

I really like mittens!
